Mr. Matt Burnett

Title(s) Spanish Teacher
Matt has been teaching Spanish III, IV and V (Advanced Placement) at Rowland Hall since 1995 and serves as the department chair for World Languages. He also volunteers as the faculty advisor for the Spanish Club. He holds a BA in Spanish from Brigham Young University and a master's of teaching in Spanish from the University of Utah. Matt and his Spanish students received the Angel of Light award for their volunteer work with the Salvation Army. He has led various student trips to Spain, Peru, and Costa Rica. In 2009, Matt received the Sumner Family Faculty Award.
