Mrs. Lisa Friedman
Lisa joined the Rowland Hall math department in 2016. She has a BA in economics from Georgetown University and an MS in mathematics from the University of Utah. After graduating from Georgetown, Lisa worked in Chicago and New York as a commercial and investment banker. She and her family moved to Salt Lake City and joined the Rowland Hall community in 1996. When it came time for a second career, Lisa wanted a way to apply her quantitative skills in a personally fulfilling way. She joined Math for America in 2009 and has been happily teaching high school math ever since. Lisa and her husband, Brett, are the proud parents of three Rowland Hall graduates and one extremely intelligent dog, Milton Friedman. In her free time, she is an avid tennis player, cook, reader, and crossword puzzler.
