Bethany Stephensen joined the Rowland Hall faculty as a kindergarten assistant teacher in 2016, shortly after she earned a master's degree in early childhood education from the University of North Dakota. She attended Mount Holyoke College for her bachelor's degree. Bethany has many years of experience in early childhood education in Portland, Maine, and at Salt Lake City's Jewish Community Center. She has served as an America Reads classroom tutor and an assistant dance instructor at the University of Utah's Tanner Dance Program. Bethany and her husband welcomed their first baby in 2015. She enjoys traveling and exploring the outdoors with her family, while finding good food and good coffee along the way.
