Nancy began teaching Middle School science at Rowland Hall in 1987, having previously taught for three years in upstate New York. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in interdisciplinary natural science from Potsdam State College, New York, and has accumulated over thirty graduate hours from Keene State, Antioch New England, and the Syracuse School of Forestry. She spent several years working on curriculum writing as part of the writing teams for the National Energy Foundation and the University of Utah Museum of Natural History. Nancy and her husband Erich are the parents of two Rowland Hall alumni, Alex and Mark. Her other interests include reading, traveling, playing the violin/fiddle, snowshoeing, and hiking.
