|
Tyler joined the Rowland Hall community as the Middle School principal in the summer of 2012. Prior, he spent 17 years at The Hamlin School in San Francisco, a K-8 independent girls’ school, where he served as Director of Community and Character Education, Summer Camp Director, Director of Outdoor Education and Service Learning, taught math, science, and physical education. Tyler also coached basketball at Hamlin and girls’ and women’s soccer at Hamlin, Berkeley High School, and San Francisco State University. Tyler and his family loves being a Utahn after spending 40+ years in his native California. He and his wife, Gwen, have two daughters at Rowland Hall. They love their short commute, exploring the Wasatch, and appreciating the outdoors from their backyard!
