Rowland Hall’s emotional support counselor since August 1993, Diane holds a BA in psychology from Westminster College and a master's degree in psychology from Indiana State University. Before beginning her work at Rowland Hall, Diane counseled troubled adolescents in individual, group, and hospital settings in the Midwest. After moving back to Utah, Diane taught introductory psychology and adolescent psychology courses at Westminster College for 10 years. Diane is presently the instructor for our advanced placement psychology classes. In 2004, the College Board identified our AP psychology class as the strongest in the world among schools with an enrollment of 350 or less. A native of Utah, Diane enjoys cooking and reading. She is the 2001 recipient of the Sumner Family Faculty Award.
